We’re a small, independent publisher. This page explains the best way to reach us and what we can and can’t help with.
How to reach us
Email: [email protected]
We aim to respond to genuine editorial inquiries within a few business days. Please understand that we may not respond to every message — and we never respond to mass outreach, link-building requests, or automated SEO pitches.
What we can help with
We’re glad to hear from you about:
- Factual corrections. If you’ve found an error, a fact that’s gone stale, a citation that no longer resolves, or a state-specific rule we got wrong, please tell us. Include the page URL and what specifically should change. Where possible, point us to the source you’re relying on.
- Topic suggestions. If there’s a topic we haven’t covered that would be useful to readers — especially state-specific questions — we’d like to hear about it.
- Feedback on tone and clarity. We aim for plain, honest, kitchen-table English. If a page reads too technical, too salesy, or too generic, we want to know.
- Press inquiries about the site, our editorial process, or our approach to content.
What we can’t help with
We are not a law firm, insurance agency, or financial advisory practice. We cannot answer:
- “Is my will valid?”
- “Should I open probate in my state?”
- “What kind of life insurance should I buy?”
- “How should my specific estate be structured?”
- Any question that asks us to apply law or financial guidance to your specific situation.
These are questions for a licensed attorney, insurance agent, or financial advisor in your state. We publish educational guides specifically so you can ask those professionals better questions — but we can’t substitute for them.
If you email us a specific-situation legal or financial question, we’ll politely point you back to this paragraph.
Corrections policy
We take factual accuracy seriously. When we get a correction right:
- We update the affected page.
- We add a dated note at the bottom of the page describing what changed.
- We re-publish.
For meaningful errors that affected a reader’s decision, we’ll also note the correction in the next general site update.
Privacy
We don’t capture phone numbers. We don’t sell your information. We don’t add you to a mailing list without your explicit opt-in. Email sent to us is used only to respond to your message. See our Privacy page for full details.
What we don’t reply to
Time spent on the inbox is time not spent on the site, so we’re disciplined about what we reply to. We don’t respond to:
- “Link building” or “guest post” requests. We don’t accept guest posts. We don’t sell links. We don’t trade backlinks.
- Sponsored content offers. Our content is independent.
- Mass outreach that’s clearly templated.
- Requests to remove a properly-sourced factual statement because it’s inconvenient. Errors yes; suppression no.
A note to attorneys, insurance agents, and other professionals
If you’ve found this site through a client question or general research and want to flag something:
- A correction or improvement — please share. We’re grateful.
- A licensing or regulatory concern — please be specific and we’ll address it promptly.
- A request to recommend you to readers — we don’t take referrals or pay-to-play recommendations. If you’ve published useful public-domain or educational content (a state bar pamphlet, a court self-help guide, a research paper), we may link to it where relevant.
Thanks for reading.
